General  

The Anatoli is a shorthaired variety of the Turkish Van in type, but it is recognized in a broad palette of colours.

Head:

Shape  

Top of head 

The head has the shape of a broad blunt wedge with gentle contours, of medium length.  

Muzzle and chin 

The muzzle is rounded, the chin firm. 

Profile  

The profile is almost straight, with just a slight dip below eye-level. Nose medium long, straight. 

Eyes 

Large and oval, alert and expressive. Set at a slight slant. Eye colour is  even, but has no relation to coat colour.

The ears are moderately large, with a broad base and slightly rounded tips. They are straight set, rather high and upright on the skull.

Size and boning 

The medium sized to large cat has a muscular body with a medium heavy bone structure. 

Torso 

The chest is massive and solid, ribcage rounded, pelvic area solid.

Neck 

The neck is muscular. 

Legs and paws 

The legs have medium length, the paws are round.

The tail is of medium length.

Texture  

The coat without woolly undercoat. It has a fine texture, but is harsher to touch.

Colour 

The colours not belonging to the original gene pool (chocolate, lilac, cinnamon, fawn, caramel, colourpointed, sepia and mink colours as well as their combinations with white) are not recognized. All other colours and patterns are recognized. Any amount of white is permitted.
